Grief & Loss

Let’s do this together…

Grief and loss can be experienced from various things and can be expressed in various ways. There isn’t a right or wrong way to grief. Grief can be experienced by losing a loved one, a loved pet, but also can be experienced by losing a relationship, accepting hard realities of life including accepting that a parent cannot provide love the way you want it, accepting the reality of letting go of certain hopes/dreams, etc. Healing from grief & loss is most effective when done in support groups where you can gain support and encouragement from others who are going through this as well. Journaling is also an effective tool in the healing process and many grief journal prompts can be found on the internet.

Studies show that Grief & Loss can be processed more readily if connected wth supportive people. Whether it’s with family, friends or support groups being around supportive people who can empathize and nurture you while you are going though this process will help you immensely.
